Steven L. Brooks is a partner in the Mergers and Acquisitions Practice Group, practicing from the firm’s Rogers office. Steven’s practice focuses on capital formation, mergers and acquisitions, commercial transactions and real estate including syndication, in commercial lending and out of court restructuring, and in taxation of business enterprises. Steven has experience representing clients nationally in connection with private offerings of securities; structuring private equity funds and issuers; individual, corporate, and partnership tax matters; complex investment and commercial lending transactions; IRS, state, and local audit protests; and planning for start-up companies.
Steven also represents clients in the natural gas and/or drilling industry, including a proppant manufacturer (frac sand), landowners and well operators, with respect to a variety of business, merger and acquisition, tax, land use, regulatory and environmental issues.
